About
The system independent labs run on
AminoCloud is a cloud-native laboratory resource system. It consolidates the fragmented stack of seven or more systems that run a modern laboratory (LIS, QMS, inventory, document control, and the rest) into a single platform built on one shared data layer. We build it for the independent clinical, diagnostic, and research laboratories that enterprise vendors have long overlooked.
Why we started
We build for the laboratories the major vendors overlook.
Enterprise laboratory software is designed for enterprise laboratories: national reference labs with dedicated IT organizations and seven-figure budgets. Independent laboratories are left to improvise, operating across seven or more systems that were never designed to interoperate, with a LIS in one place, a quality manual in another, inventory in spreadsheets, controlled documents on a shared drive, and instruments tracked on paper.
We have worked at that bench, and we recognize the friction it produces: duplicate data entry, divergent document versions, and inspections that become multi-day reconstructions. The expense is structural. It accumulates in the gaps between systems, and in the hours spent holding them in agreement.
AminoCloud was built to eliminate that friction. We provide independent laboratories a single platform with the analytical depth the work demands and the operational simplicity a small team can sustain, so that laboratory staff devote their time to the science itself.
One platform for the whole lab
Each product addresses a distinct domain of laboratory operations. Together they share the same records, the same identity, and the same audit trail. Adopt one, and extend to the others as your needs grow.
Lab operations on one data layer: inventory, assets, records, compliance, and the electronic lab notebook.
The laboratory information system, from accessioning to validated, reported results.
Genomics end to end: NGS pipelines, primer design, sequence alignment, and tertiary analysis.
A free AI lab partner for the bench, grounded in your own email, files, and references.
Claims, denials, appeals, and AR, closing the loop from result to reimbursement.
How we build it
The platform rests on a few deliberate architectural commitments about whom it serves and what it must guarantee them.
Single-tenant by design
Every laboratory operates on a dedicated Azure deployment, with its own database, storage, and compute. Data is isolated from every other tenant and remains entirely yours.
Built by people who've worked the bench
We study a workflow, and the science beneath it, before building for it. The result reflects how laboratories actually operate, because the people who design it have performed the work themselves.
Compliant by construction
Electronic signatures and immutable audit trails are intrinsic to the platform, spanning 21 CFR Part 11, HIPAA, and CAP/CLIA workflows, with SOC 2 Type II in progress.
See AminoCloud on your own workflows
The most direct way to assess the platform is to see it trace a real reagent, instrument, or SOP from your laboratory.
